(Greenville, NC)– LBA Technology, Inc. is now shipping the latest generation of its CoLoCoil™ AM tower site wireless isolation systems. Because CoLoCoils™ permit the installation of 3G, cellular, PCS, and other wireless antennas on existing AM broadcast towers, site acquisition is simplified and made more zoning friendly. Time-to-market and costs of deploying new sites are reduced compared to construction of “greenfield” sites. CoLoCoils™ enables AM broadcasters to profit from renting previously unusable tower space.
CoLoCoils™ incorporate low-loss coaxial transmission lines and other rugged components into a low maintenance system. More than a dozen coaxial, power, and control cables can be isolated with negligible impact on most AM towers. CoLoCoils™ are weatherproof and provided in modular pad-mount assemblies.
The CoLoCoil™ is another in a family of LBA products and services targeted to the innovative colocation of wireless services and currently in use worldwide by AT&T, Sprint, American Tower, Crown Castle, and others. LBA Technology is a unit of the LBA Group of Greenville, North Carolina that provides technical and regulatory solutions to the broadcast and wireless industry for 38 years.
