The explosion of interest in providing broadband connections throughout the US was evident at the FCC National Broadband Plan & WCAI Summer Summit. The Herndon, Virginia event was sponsored by the Wireless Communications Association International (WCAI), the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), and DBC.
LBA Group CEO Lawrence Behr was a featured speaker. He spoke on the FCC renewal of Broadband Radio Service (BRS) licenses and the importance of providing substantial service to service areas through approved “safe harbors”. LBA provides a variety of technology services to broadband wireless applicants and operators.
