July 11, 2001 (Greenville, NC) – Lawrence Behr, CEO of the LBA Group, Inc., moderated a panel at the recent Wireless Communications International Conference “WCA 2001″ in Boston, Massachusetts. The topic of the panel Mr. Behr moderated was “From Rooftop to Towertop – Industry Views on Wireless Sites”.
Mr. Behr, a well-known expert in the field of wireless communications, headed up the panel that concentrated on cell tower and rooftop site issues affecting the deployment of nationwide broadband wireless data and Internet services. Manufacturers and service providers are currently engaged in a massive effort to make fast, affordable, data connections available to millions of homes and businesses in the US and abroad. Mr. Behr’s panelists were: Dennis Schemerhorn, an attorney with Richard Riley & Associates, Chicago; Virgil Stites, Vice President of Sprint Sites, Kansas City; and Frank Cupido, Global Relationships Manager for Bechtel Telecommunications, Washington.
